As Christians we are meant to live with a sense of wonder. To live as people who are in awe of what God has done for us in Jesus Christ. As the wonder of the Gospel grips us it changes the way that we see God, look at ourselves, treat other people and view the world in general. Hope and joy replace despair. Love replaces hate and indifference.
Paul’s letter to the Ephesians is a great place to go in order to have our hearts and minds re-ignited with the wonder of God’s love. It is full of important truths as well as the practical outworking’s of what it looks like to live a life that has been impacted by the Good News of Jesus. Most of all, it is a letter that is full of grace and it has the potential to radically change your life. When our hunger combines with God’s word and the Holy Spirit great things are possible.
So on the 24th of February we are starting our new series on Ephesians. My desire, is that we will all use it as an opportunity to engage with the scriptures. That we would read and wrestle with Ephesians on our own and with others and in so doing let it take deep root in our lives.
Much love,
Keath
