Worship is one of the greatest keys to intimacy with God, and thus we prize the wholehearted exaltation, adoration, enjoyment, and pursuit of the person and presence of Jesus in our worship times together.
As a family, we desire to worship radically and unreservedly, love fiercely and intentionally, and are deeply passionate about our King.
Our worship team includes four band line-ups, sound engineers, and the audio-visual (AV) team on a Sunday.
We also encourage musicians and singers to bring worship into our Thursday night prayer group at 8pm in KingsGate.
Worship Team Commitments
Serving in worship is both a privilege and a responsibility. As a team, we desire to honour God, serve the church with excellence, and support one another as we lead people into worship. We also acknowledge that true worship requires sacrifice and a commitment to purity and sanctification for the Lord.
Romans 12:1 “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.”
If you would like to join the worship team, we are currently recruiting for:
- drummers
- percussionists
- bass guitarists
- guitarists
- wind or string instrument players (with at least grade 3 or 4 ability)
- sound engineers (trainees welcome, experienced sound engineers more so!)
First, please read our commitments document and if you are ready, please complete the form below. Also, feel free to talk to one of the worship team after church gathering on a Sunday, such as Jules, Heni, Jozsef, Jiska, Harold or Cheryl, who will all be able to explain how we work together.
