Prayer is the greater work
Prayer does not equip us for greater works – prayer is the greater work. It is one of the most important things we can do. When we pray we connect with God! In prayer we depend on God, seek God, and enjoy God. We believe God hears and responds to prayer.
It’s important for every believer to be spending time alone with God regularly, but we also see in the Bible, the church coming together to lift their voices to God in prayer – passionately crying out for God to move in various situations. Join us as we gather together to pray.
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
MID-WEEK PRAYER MEETINGS
Each KingsGate church community has it’s own rhythm of when and where we gather gather together to change the world around us through prayer.
Our small groups which meet up during the week are a great space to pray together – you can come and be prayed for, as well as join in praying for others.
Half an hour before every weekly church gathering, there is a time of prayer where we ask God to come and be with us and seek out his heart for us in that service.
In addition to the above times of prayer, groups of people regularly meet together to seek God and his Kingdom through prayer.
If you would like prayer for anything, please visit one of the community pages below for contact details.
