We invite you to join our history makers Youth

We have a vibrant youth community of around 20 fantastic young people from year 7 to year 13. We enjoy doing life together growing in friendship and exploring faith in God.

Church Involvement (Sunday Meeting)

The Youth are encouraged to be part of the main meeting which runs from 10am-12pm on a Sunday. We join for worship and communion and once that has finished, twice a month the Youth head to the church office space with 2 youth leaders to meet separately for bible study, discussion and prayer ministry. Other times the youth stay in for the whole meeting engaging with the preach and prayer ministry times with everyone.

Connect Groups (Monthly Thursdays)

Further discipleship for the Youth happens in Youth Connect Groups run by some of our Youth Leaders during term time from 7:30-9pm on Thursdays in Ham/Kingston and Chessington or Sunbury

Socials (every half term)

We love doing socials, having fun, and hanging out together. These usually happen intermittently on a Friday from 7:30pm to 9.30pm. Past ventures have been laser quest, ice skating, bowling, watching a movie together, cooking together (home made pizzas or easter chocolate bars or ginger bread). In summer, we often go to a park and play volley ball or rounders, or we relax at the church and play games, with plenty of snacks and refreshments. We encourage the Youth to bring their friends. To find out when the next social is happening, please contact the church office.

Spiritual Growth & Serving

Youth are encouraged to take up serving in the life of the church we have several youth who are part of worship team in bands or leading. They serve in Kidsmin and on the AV desk. They will serve and assist with catering. They are encouraged to prepare 5 minutes of fire preaches which they deliver in home groups and then in the service when they are ready. The older youth also lead bible studies on Sundays and in youth home groups.

UTX

UTX is our outreach club run by the youth for youth. Every other Friday from 7.15- 9.15 pm. Table top games, table tennis, pool, group games, character sketches,  praise and a short talk plus the opportunity to ask questions and receive prayer ministry for anything. For secondary age, please check with the church office for which Fridays it is on.
