Our Leaders
Meet the Eldership Team
Leadership is a position of service to help others flourish.
Introducing the wonderful people which make up our Eldership team, pastoring and leading our church:
-
Keath and Michelle Gaitskell Lead Pastors
We’ve been part of KingsGate, since its start in October 1995. What an incredible adventure God has taken us on, greater than we ever dreamed. We love the local Church, and all its expressions, and are privileged to be leading Kingsgate.
Keath loves floral shirts, Jackson Browne, cricket and is passionate about preaching. Michelle leads the Pride Kid’s ministry team, the Arise women’s ministry and uses whatever opportunity she can to create. She loves cooking, and French Markets. We have three children, who are our great joy and delight.

Keith & Christine Calder KingstonAs ‘marketplace’ elders, Christine & Keith hold down full-time jobs and are deeply involved in KingsGate life. Between them, they oversee youth, prayer and worship. In addition, they help to lead the evening meetings, and Keith also leads the sound team. Both are ‘culture vultures’, often found at the V&A Museum, and other arts/culture centres in and around London – and abroad whenever possible. They love to experience great architecture. They have many years of leading small groups and other ministry areas in church life and love to serve.Christine is a designer by profession and is constantly making things in a wide variety of genres; she currently works in a secondary school supporting students who have emotional needs. Keith is an engineer by profession but has a passion to understand the Bible in its original context and for communicating it to others; he is equally passionate about music: writing and playing at every opportunity. He thinks that the finest ‘Christian’ music was written by J.S.Bach.

Paul and Robyn Harper Kingston
We have three children and live the good life in Surbiton. Robyn’s interests are photography and is learning piano. Paul enjoys reminiscing about what a great rugby player he never was. Together we love BBQ’s and holidays, especially in hot places with great food and sights. We lead the 5:30 meeting in Kingston and Paul oversees evangelism and freedom ministries.
-
Sean and Nola Dooley CobhamSean loves rugby, playing the guitar, reading, cycling and going for country walks. He has spent the last decade and more training church leaders on discipleship and mission. He has been on team, and led, large and small churches. He’s a very proud grandad to his three grandchildren.Nola has worked as a foster carer for many years and loves children, especially her grandchildren! Nola loves people and her strengths are WOO (winning others over), activating and high energy!
Our Broader Leadership Team
We are blessed to have such a gifted and diverse group of support leaders.
This team includes people who lead Connect Groups as well as the many other ministries in our various church communities.
