Parenting Course 2012
19:45 - 22:00pm
The KingsGate Parenting course is aimed at parents with children up to the age of 12. It is based on the Family Time suite of parenting programs.
The course, while based on Christian principles, is relevant and helpful for any parent with or without a Christian faith or church background.
When a couple are parenting together we encourage both of them to attend the course.
KingsGate church is part of the National Parenting Initiative
Course dates:
- June 6th - A vision for the family
- June 13th - Communicating love
- June 20th - Who is influencing my children?
- June 27th - Family values
- July 4th - Guiding, shaping and boundaries
- July 11th - Modelling love and respect
Course costs: £10 per person
(includes course material as well as coffee and refreshments)
Each evening begins at 19:45 with a talk which will be followed by refreshments and then discussion groups. We aim to finish at 22:00. Over the six evenings the course offers many practical suggestions and observations, using personal exercises and questions and giving opportunities to talk through issues.
