Kingdom Partnerships

LCI, KingsGate’s predecessor, was planted by Nigel and Melita Day-Lewis in partnership with the New Covenant Ministries International (NCMI) apostolic team. Over the years we have been greatly blessed, strengthened and encouraged by our relationship with, and the input we have received from, men and women on the NCMI team. Nigel and Melita also served on the NCMI team, while based at LCI, from 2001 until 2008.

As the NCMI team has expanded and apostolic fathers have been released to lead their own apostolic spheres, we have retained close relationship with those men and women we have always had close relationship with. First and foremost among those relationships are Nigel & Melita Day-Lewis, as founding parents of the church, Chris & Meryl Wienand, who originally released Nigel & Melita to plant, and have been a huge support during the intervening years and Rory & Melanie Dyer, who released Ryan & Melissa Matthews to take over the church. Having had such a significant impact on KingsGate, Ryan & Melissa Matthews, since they handed over the captaincy of the leadership team, also remain close friends and significant voices. Also in the last while God has deepened relationships with churches and ministries in the USA, Middle East, India, Australia and Africa.

Although there is no-one from KingsGate currently serving on the NCMI team we remain in relationship with both the members of the NCMI team and the family of churches who are in relationship with that team. More recently, God has opened up doors of relationship beyond our original family and we have formed growing partnerships with other people and churches, both locally and around the world, who share our passion for God’s Kingdom and seeing this world transformed through the loving power of Jesus.

Finally, we are members of the Evangelical Alliance in the UK and are part of the Richmond Evangelical Churches group and Kingston Churches Together.
