Cool Catz

Cool Catz continues the development of the children’s understanding that God loves them and that they can have a personal relationship with Jesus. They learn more about, and practise, being in Father's presence and that listening to God is a natural part of life. They continue to develop an understanding of God’s character – true, honest, loving, compassionate, generous, selfless, faithful, just, holy, merciful.The team build deeper relationships with the children by demonstrating God's love in the way we interact with them – praying for them, hugging them when we see them and caring about their needs and concerns. We continue to explore the many ways we can hear from God – in worship, prophetic art, soaking time, praying for each other on birthdays or when ill – and write the specific things He says to us in a journal which can then be shared with their parents.They begin to memorise scripture and to use their own bibles so that they can know God’s word for themselves.
